It's more than just a gathering . . .

Today was indeed happening manx!
Had Prayer Retreat over @ GCTC (15 South Buona Vista Rd) and Campus Crusade BBQ later in the evening.

Let's start off with the Prayer Retreat.
It was really enriching and impacting!
For me, I personally feel that prayer is more than what I expect of. As I reflect on my walk with God, I've realised that at times I treat God as a genie, always asking him for the things I want, the things I need, the solutions to my problems etc. . .
And at times when I do not need anything, I just chunk him aside, like a spare tire being hidden in the boot of the car.

Prayer is like Communication with God. How can a relationship last or grow strong when there is a lack of communication between both parties. Like its said, "It takes 2 to clap"
This retreat has taught me valuable lessons and I believe prayer life wont be the same again.

After the retreat from 10am - 4.30pm, our ministry have a BBQ session. Woah it was really a great gathering. Mingled along with the crusaders, playing truth/dare, laughing around, cooking together, playing table tennis together. It was just too fantastic !

I'm looking forward to the next Night Cycling Trip.
Hope to see more crusaders coming together to be involved in such activities.
Gona go on leave next fri and sat manx !

Yeah not forgetting that I have school tmr ! Sigh ! But there still be no room for laziness manx! I shall attend sch tmr ! haha
