There is a 1st time for everything

Today was kind of random, met up with bang before heading towards Scotts Rd for the A|X sales. Gosh, the entire area was packed with people, being typical Singaporeans, when we see good and cheap stuffs, we rush there swiftly!

Actually there were nothing much to offer, bang and I were not interested in any of those rugged tops and sweaters. All don't look appealing to us at all, maybe this is already the 4th day of the sale (as mentioned by one of my NP friend who was working there), and all the good stuffs have been taken away.

But . . . . .

I still chanced upon a nice pair of black jeans. Usual price was $199 and I just got it for 70bucks. Can you believe it?

So I was waiting at the queue for my turn to try on that pair of jeans. Realised that it was rather loose but being so captivated by it, I decided to take it and then tapered it so that it fits me well.
Went to Far East Plaza, this alteration shop called Clacy Boutique (recommended by lk) to have my nice pair of jeans tapered. So the professional lady went to make amendments in almost every part of the jeans (it seems to have gone through a Extreme Makeover). So after she made those necessary adjustments, I thought it was really good, so I went to make my payment.

To my amazement, she charged me $70 for it. Damn ! Daylight Robbery!
I bought it for 70bucks and she charged me for 70bucks too !
This is really ridiculous. So I paid for the jeans and left the shop, Bang was also shocked manx, who can believe it? But I'm going to make sure they do a good job to my pair of jeans or else I will ask them for compensation .

It ruined the rest of my shopping trip definitely but not my entire day, I managed to got over it anyway. haha, so it's not too bad !

After that, we went to Cineleisure for some Jap food. I ordered Cha Soba (cold noodles) Set and it didnt really fill my stomach. Spent so much on something which doesn't fill my stomach.

Thanks bang for his company, haha good day out with my brother manx. Alright shall end this entry with a lesson learnt from today's trip.

I began to realise that it's good to make mistakes at times too, but it's stupid to make the same mistakes again and again.

So people out there, if you feel that at times you kept making a blunder of yourself which makes you feel inadequate, do not fret, there is always a 1st time for every wrong doings, but make sure you learn from it so that next time you will not commit it again. In short, it means that you will become smarter as you learn from it.
