Pro Trim Hair Studio

Today's class end early, so I decided to have a haircut. Finally ! I always cut my hair once/2mths. Maybe my hair takes a longer time to grow?

So went to CP Pro Trim ( my usual hair stylist, Alice) with my bro to have a good hair cut. While I was browsing the mags, lian kwang stepped into the hair studio. Was kind of surprised manx, and the funniest thing is that all 3 of us is queuing for Alice to cut our hair ! haha, so my bro started 1st, then me, finally lk.

At the end of the day, all 3 of us like our hairstyle. Great Satisfaction !

So went to BEST to walk around, Im getting a new Desktop soon, so gotta do hunt for the necessary stuffs like, sound bass, speakers etc . . .

Haha, so tonight, Im going to treat my family to a nice dinner at Sushi Tei ! Hope the foods there won't disappoint all of us, it must at least be worthy of its price if not better. Nothing lower !

Today was indeed an eye opener for jason foo and me.
We had a 2day function over at Singapore Turf Club, Kranji.
Initially we thought that it will be a tiring and back breaking job, but it prove us otherwise.
This is our responsibility, all we need to do is to manage a bar, gamblers(sounds abit wrong) will come to us to buy snacks and beverages. We will just need to get them what they want. Whats more, when the gamblers started to get back to their respective seats to analyze and place their bets for the next race, we have the opportunity to sit and slack.

Jason is in charge of managing the champagnes, so the winner of the race will always visit jason and have a mini celebration with his horse trainer, jockey and his team.

Sounds good right ?

Yeah I have also noticed that horse racing is really insubstantial ! I really see no meaning in it. I bet those gamblers need to put extra effort when analyzing the different horses.

Why insubstantial and meaningless ?

Allow me to quote you an example.
Scientist spent so much of their time do analysis on different things, so that they can come out with something that benefit the community and with a greater purpose.

Horse gamblers waste their effort in their analyzation on horses just for money , leisure, hobby which roots down to SELF !

Some may leave the turf club with delight but there are certainly some who will leave that place despaired, thinking why didnt lady luck fall on him/her.

Yeah but certainly I felt comforted when I realised that the older generation (45 and above in age) forms the majority. At least the youths during this generation aint into horse gambling. I certainly hope not to see them being involved in such activities, life has greater purpose than this definitely!

Last but not least

From this day onwards, I believe Im going to have good sleep every night !
Must really thank my family for their help.
I was anticipating a queen size bed and as I was walking home, towards the lift lobby, I saw my old bed being discarded at one corner. haha so as I reached home, its not food Im looking for (usually the 1st I looked for) but the bed. haha, everything was so nicely arranged. And I also steal the bedside lamp from my parents ( it doesnt suit their room) and position it at the side of my bead ( like most concepts of hotels). haha

First and foremost I will like to take this opportunity to congratulate my Bro Ng.
25 Oct 2007 is the official date where he will take down this dumb plate, so drivers out there, don't take him as a noob driver just because of the plate on his windscreen.

Anyway Bang, this entry is solely for you and it express my heartfelt feelings.

Firstly whether you have a plate on your windscreen or not, it doesnt make any difference at all. You should know your driving skills, how you have been making rooms for improvement for yourself and for your passengers.
Whenever I hitch a ride from you, you never fail to give me a sense of security and comfort. I believe those who have been on your car will agree totally with me, we can always put our mind at ease.

Yeah it's good that in the next half an hr or so, you will be a fully pledged driver, not probational or any noob driver which others on the road may thought of you.

Wana Congratulate you, and hope to have more rides (LATE NIGHT) with you and our buds. haha take care too !

Daily Routine : STUDY !

I'm aware of the lag of updates for the past few days.
Have been monitoring myself in case I unknowingly stop blogging and close this blog for another year.
I will appreciate if you readers out there constantly send me reminders to update my blog.

School has started since 15 Oct and in my course of studies there will sure bound to be challenges like having sufficient sleep, balancing commitments etc
So far, school have been good for me, nice lecturers and interesting modules (though 1 or 2 can make me sleep).

I'm specializing in Aerospace Electronics and I really enjoy what is coming ahead of me. More interesting modules regarding aircraft electronics, attachment to various aviation companies ( SIA Engineering , Eurocopter, ST Aerospace . . )
But in the midst of my busy-ness, I will also be more discipline in my walk with God too, sometimes I tend to forget that I'm a Christian. So do pray for me too.

I want to be disciplined and not just being LAZYBONES !

Sorry for the lack of updates.

Look and behold the pictures which we took in the Airbus A380.

We saw a guy carrying a huge advertisement around his neck and both of his hands carrying 10 - 20 of these bags.

To get this bag it's simple, all you need to do is to shout TATARAH !
So ks and me shouted , and he gave us 2 bags.
Stupid right !

When I came back, I saw 2 families from 2 different race quarreling.
The Chinese chap was like screaming over his head thinking that he owns the entire neighborhood. People still need sleep okay !

Sometimes people are so weird, they always cry over split milk. Things had already taken place, there is no point arguing or quarreling over the incident. They should instead settle down and think of solutions on how to resolve the problem.
By screaming or quarreling gets you no where, you are actually building hatred for one another instead.

How are you going to react when you see this person whom you quarreled with in the same lift ?
There will definitely be animosity between both of you.

So why don't you just give in and put your pride down, so that the world will be a better place to live in.

Went to get some essential stationaries from popular and the whole lot of stationaries which I've bought cost me $35.05.

Can't believe it anyway, but it's a good investment. I will be busying highlighting impt pointers in class rather than daydreaming. haha

Out at Town

Had a great time today with ks over at town. Went to shop around, looking for things we fancy.

Had lunch together with mk, jason foo and their 4 other poly friends over at Long John Silver.
Gosh I'm getting really sicked with the food offered by LJS, combo 1 . . . .
Credits all belongs to Mr Ho KS.

So after lunch we walked on our separate ways and headed to Heeren.
Didnt manage to get anything from there, so we went to Cineleisure instead.
Guys did you realize that once you stepped into Cineleisure, you are welcomed by weird pungent smell ( produced by the various cafes over there due to bad ventilation ) and the longer you hang in cine, the stronger the smell stained on your shirt.

Ks managed to get a new ear stud from a push cart stall whose owner is the funky dude from Heeren.

Next, we went over to Taka then to Wisma. Visited the FCUK boutique and it offers quite a number of tee designs, look tempting but I dont really like the material, it's too thin. So we went over to Topman and there we saw mk, jason and their friends again, and Ks was busying trying out the scarf. I agree with what KS said : " Being stylish is what you think is nice and ignoring what other people say to you "

He got his scarf at a discounted price from my Membership. I thought this topman membership card of mine is no longer valid, but surprisingly it still can be used. haha, gona shop from topman soon, in case my card expires. haha

What else ?

Oh yeah, for dinner we made a long trip down to Bedok for dinner. Ks has a sudden crave for Minced Meat Noodles ( Bak Chor Mee ), so we called Deming and guang rong came along too.
We had stingray, bbq chicken, bak chor mee and dessert. haha, it was worth it.

Airbus A380 Tour

Finally, today is the last day of the function (SIA launch the 1st Airbus A380).
Left Terminal 3 with mixed feelings actually. Even though the job is rather challenging but I enjoy the experience I had over there.

Saw the Airbus A380 LIVE, saw many pilots, businessman, CEOs, Ministers . . .

Most amazingly and unexpectedly, we managed to have a short tour in the Airbus !!!

Gosh ! This is really surprising manx, you can never imagined how joyous all of us were when we boarded the plane. We roamed from the economy class , to the business class then finally to the newly launched Singapore Airlines Suite ! We took many pictures and a video! We were so privilege to be among the 1st few to board the plane, I really enjoyed myself to the extreme ! Like I've said, this working experience I had gained from this function really push me and motivates me to work really really hard to achieve my goal to be a pilot, I will not be pulled down my anything or be hindered by anything to achieve this goal of mine but I hope I will not get too carried away and live life as a mere dream, a fantasy.

I love it! Thanks mengkiat and his bro for introducing us this function. And wanna publicly apologized to mk for disturbing him ALL the time! haha BUT he has his share for teasing me too, laughing at me ! Suckling Pig ar ! haha, but no worries, I dont take it to heart ! haha I wont be a suckling pig all of my life anyway, so nevermind ! haha

Alright, now my feet hurts ! And i really need some rest too, I bet I'm going to have a good time dreaming of becoming a pilot for the next 10hrs or more in my sleep, so please dont call me late at night and disturb me okay ! haha alright, thanks all readers for reading, remember to catch some of the video and pictures I've taken in the A380. My Aspiration

The Official Launch of the new A380 Airbus held at Terminal 3 by Singapore Airlines is indeed an eye opening experience for me ! This is going to be a pre-historical event and I'm glad that I'm part of it.

Was merely a waiter for this 3day function and I see so much things.
Singapore is the 1st to launch this airbus and it was indeed a privilege to see the 1st airbus touch down at Terminal 3. It was also a drive for me to achieve my aspiration of being a pilot too! I was really proud of this new Airbus.

We started work from 1500hr and end around 2230hr. It was tiring but I'm still glad that I came for it! Saw many big shot people, CEOs of various companies, Prime Minister, Chairman of SIA and even senior pilots ! Gosh the look of their entire uniform really admire them so much and hoping that I could be like them in the future!

What else ?

Me, mk, ks and Jason Foo were like so tempted with the scrumptious food. They offer so many cuisines varying from English, Chinese, Japanese, Korean, Muslim, Indian, and even Cosmopolitan. By the way, all the invited guests for today were classified as V-VIP (VERY VERY IMPORTANT PEOPLE) so the standard of food,beverages and service must be tip top !

Alright I think I will allow the pictures and videos do the talking. Today's experience is indescribable, I could only say that it serves as a huge drive for me, motivating me to work very hard and work towards the goal of mine!

14 days of training CLEARED !

Sorry for the lag of updates manx !
Was really busy during the last weekend before sch starts.

What are the highlights for the past few days?

Well sch resume as per normal again, with a new class, new friends, new lecturers, new classrooms and new modules !
So far the modules which I'm taking is somehow related to aviation and i really enjoyed the module, Fight Technology Aviation System (FTAS) It expose to us the different components of the aircraft and its functions. Woah this is really my interest manx and I look forward to attending the lectures !

What else?
This morning got to reach home by 7am for prayer meeting. Met up with some cca kakis( who reside around my area) and took a cab to school !

Was really amazed what God can do! The usual attendance for prayer meeting is an average of 9, but today, the room was overflowing ! 31 came for our weekly prayer meeting (1st session).
Had a good experience with God today at the meeting.

What next?

Oh, I had work today at 6pm ! It was really pleasing because I'd cleared my 14days of training !
All the long hours of work I've been through is now over !
Now I just wana concentrate and do well for this Sem ! Hope to score well for it, there is a need for performance because most of my classmates are really dilligent and witty, some got GPA 4 ! Gosh ! this is crazy, but I shall take the challenge with humility ! haha

Lastly, wana appreciate my beloved sister who cooked me noodles after I came home from work, famished ! haha
