Shop after a full dinner

Canon Powershot SX 100 IS

Was fickle-minded and it took me a long time to decide whether to get the Canon Ixus 860 IS or the Powershot SX100 IS.

Spent like 2hrs plus in the shop until I decided to bring this baby back home with me.
So far I have no negative comments on this SX100.
I love the way it look (though it's not as sexy as the 860IS) , the 10x optical zoom (way more powerful that any ultra compact camera, ixus series . . .) and the colour (make it looks like a replica of those SLR cameras)

This camera will comes in handy wherever I go !

Spent the entire day out and didn't spend much time on revision for test tmr. I think I better not get distracted. Gotta do my revision now.

Stressed up

Gosh! Have been really stress lately.
Projects are piling up like nobody's business, undone web tutorials are pestering me and the list goes on and on, like it's never ending . . . ARGH !

I'm left with only 2weeks before my Common Test commences and looking now the rate I'm going, there are certainly alot more to study.
I'm way BEHIND TIME !

I think I gotta give up some of my activities like work, outings, sleeping, slacking or even using the computer and perhaps blogging!

It's time to get serious Fred!
Time wait for no man, once it's gone, it's gone forever !

I think I will need to come up with a 2 week time-table as a form of preparation for my common test.
For the next 2weeks, no gym (sorry bang, but Im fine with night runs), no long working hrs, no computer (bro must be happy) and no long hours of sleep (ahhhhh !)

Okay I better stop lamenting !
Those who are having exams soon, I know you are facing great distress now, but give it your best and strive for it !
Those who are starting to smell the holidays coming, don't waste time doing nothing. Have a good rest and do spend time with your loved ones !

Back to Sushi Tei again !

Worked from 2pm - 10.30pm.
Today's crowd was still manageable, desmond koh visited our restaurant today. I have seen quite a number of celebrities / stars in our outlet.
People like : Andrea Fonseka (host for live the dream), Eunice Olsen, Desmond Koh, Orlinda Cho, Ben (some chn 8 actor), a guy from the runner up team of superband . . .

I feel that these people are ordinary people and I don't understand why people who are fanatic will always pester them for their autographs or worst, taking pics. These people need their private space too and I see nothing special about them.
Sounds prejudiced yeah ?

Feeling really tired after the day's work. And today, 2 part timers actually had a fight after a heated argument against one another. Worst of all, one of them is a male and another is a female.
The root cause of the entire fight is the wrong words that came out from their lips.
Allow me to write down the entire conversation between them:

Girl: The way you hold your chopstick is wrong

Guy:Yeah so do you know how to hold the right way then ?
Girl: Haha, actually no !
Guy: Waoh then you still talk so much, slap you then you know (says jokingly)
Girl ( was offended) : Slap me? I dare you manx ? Come if you have the guts!
Guy ( was offended too, he stood up took a paper plate which meant for putting of sushi, threw it across the girl's face)
Girl stood up and went forward to choke the guy and the battle begins ! ( do not want to elaborate on that)

So people, do watch your words when you speak. Words can be offensive sometimes even though it was meant to be a joke.

Do not also allow pride to take control of you. It's right that every individual have their own pride / ego. But if you are willing to put that down that pride, I believe love will prevails ! You will gain more respect and people will look up to u as a role model.
Remember pride gives only temporal satisfaction !

While waiting for lecturer to come, why not just do a short update on the recent highlights of my days.
Yesterday, met up with my bro at Bugis for lunch. Initially wanted to have pasta but unfortunately the PastaMania Outlet has closed it's doors. *Take Note.
But I have a better recommendation for you guys. Bro and I went to "Seafood Harvest" for lunch instead.
The place is really cosy and the food is cheap and nice!
For only $6.50 ( exclusive of Svc Charge 10% and GST 7%), you are able to enjoy a sumptuous main course, a free choice of drink and also a DOUBLE scoop ice cream. Top up another $1 and you are able to enjoy the creamy seafood gadum (soup).
Where can you find such deal ?

I had a plate of tender and crispy chicken cutlet set meal while my bro had a tasty Beef Spag.
We felt that the ice cream is abit too cheapo ! Typical WALLS ice cream.

After that, we walked over to Tecman and I bought a bible for my bro. He has been attending church on Sundays, so I believe that comes in handy.

After that, we bus-ed back together and slept like logs on the upper deck!

Felicia Chin and Desmond Koh came to my sch for some Food Variety Show.
As usual, fans will crowd around them, requesting for photoshoots and stuffs. Realized that majority of them requesting for snapshots are the guys.
They are like so crazy over Felicia Chin! *Dumbstrucked*

Okay maybe I'm someone who don't really admire / idolize / go after such people.

So after lunch we went to back to our class and here I'm blogging.

Haven't been really updating recently but everything is going on fine and smooth.

Tuesday is always a dreadful day for me, not because of the 7am morning prayer we always have in the morning, BUT because of the boring module we are having. I've always hated programming and Digital Electronics. These modules are really dry and I thought I could have got over it during the previous semester and not having it anymore this semester.

Unfortunately it doesn't goes according to my bidding. This semester I'm taking a module which is a combination of programming and digital electronics. It is really tormenting to study something which does not spark any interest in you. So decided to skip the lecture and tutorial for this module and go home instead to have more rest. I haven't had enough of sleep lately, I feel like a dead panda walking in the streets.

In the evening, I met up with my lovely cousin for dinner (together with my sis). We went to White Sands for dinner, woah the Curry Rice is really nice. After that we went to shop around White Sands. My cousin bought me and my sis so many things. My cousin bought my sis an expanse of Victoria's Secret products from States, varying from handbags to body scent.
My cousin did not leave me out either, as we stepped into the World of Sports / Sportslink (can't remember), she bought me a nice Nike Tee and a beautiful pair of running shoes. It's really a blessing to have such caring, thoughtful and wondrous cousin (im so used to call her sister) like her. Even though our age gaps are quite different, but my sis and I still do click with her very well. She is like our role model and our confidant manx!

Nice time spent with you sis and thank you so much for your gifts.

Fun times ahead of me

Gosh, I have been really busy these days to update this blog of mine. So I've decided to blog now and at the same time trying hard to pay attention to what my lecturer is teaching.

Multi-Tasking !

Hit the gym on wed with bang at Hougang and it certainly left me with sores and aches on my body.
People who experienced sores and aches on their body, esp their abs / chest will know that whenever they cough, sneeze or laugh, it will create a sharp pain on the parts which are aching.

Okay, what's the highlights for yesterday?
Had LifeMeeting at 5.30pm and went out to the campus for a prayer walk. The entire walk was refreshing and fulfilling. After that, we went to K.A.P Mac to celebrate Sarah 18th Birthday. Joel actually booked a party room and all of us feel like being like a little kid again. We have party hats and colourful balloons too !
Instead of having those extra value meals, we have HAPPY MEAL instead. Woah and there is a toy in it. At the end of the party, we play a kiddish but FUN game.

This is how it goes:
The MAC stuffs will put pieces of paper on the floor. We are supposed to gather around those pieces of paper. And when they start playing the music, we are suppose to walk around the paper (like the concept of musical chair). Once the music stops playing, we are suppose to stand on the papers on the floor.

Sound kiddish, but it's FUN manx, especially with the right people.

So we ended the day by taking snapshots here and there. Then reached home around 11plus feeling really lethargic !

Alright, what's for today?
I will be away for night cycling CUM makan trip with the crusaders tonight.
It's gonna be fun manx!
End school at 1pm today, meet crusaders and 9.30pm and then cycle till next morning 8am.

727 Durian !

Allow me to have a quick update of today.

Was feeling so exhausted the entire day.
Why?
Yesterday i was discussing with my friend about the new desktop I'm getting. Spend close to 3hrs chatting with him. Gona get a good desktop in like 2 weeks? Looking forward to it manx !

So slept at ard 2.30am and woke up at 5.30am for school.
This is really crazy! Furthermore I have a meeting in the evening at 5.30pm and it ended at around 7.45pm.
I can't believe that I actually pulled through it.
After meeting, cabbed to AMK to meet my family for dinner. Had really nice and scrumptious food over at AMK. After that walked around COURTS, browsing at some furniture, computers and cameras.
I chanced upon the canon 900TI (which I'm getting in 2 weeks time too), which was selling at $499.
I was flabbergasted until the sales personnel told me that it was the display set which they are selling. I mean who on earth would buy a camera which was touched and examined by countless of patrons?
We headed home after that.

What's more?
I was surprised when I saw that there were 3 boxes of 727 durian puffs in my fridge ! Woah, I love puffs from 727 durian manx ! Sis and I were like enjoying the puffs despite the heavy meal we had earlier on. Talking about 727 durian, i firmly think that it's a delicacy which my bang cannot resist too. Both of us enjoyed and appreciate puffs from 727.

Who says you need to wait for the durian season to have good durians?

A day to REST

Today was indeed a terrible day for me!

Spent this dreadful day visiting the toilet in and out !
A Diarrhoea attack hit me this morning together with its accomplice, Mr Sore Eye.
Did not attend church today or going to work in the evening.
So I spent the entire day, just resting and slacking.

Recently, my dad asked me to get a desktop asap. Being an IT amateur, I had totally nothing in mind what to do. What I know is that, I getting this friend of mine to help me build a good com.
Will be meeting him this fri to get a new baby for my room !
Excited !

What else did I do today ?
Yeah, I had a good catching up with my friend,Mona, over at Norway.
Definitely miss playing volleyball with her and her sister, and our late night chats over at the beach ! haha
And Gosh, I was told that it's snowing over at her area and it definitely leaves me with nothing but ADMIRATION ! How I've longed for singapore to snow! That's out of the qns, fred !
Yeah, both of us had a great chat.
